Do the products come with a warranty?

Since we deal in used merchandise, we cannot provide a warranty for our products, unless a factory warranty is still in effect.

What is your return policy?

All our products have a 14 day return period.

What are the criteria for your condition examination?

  • The condition examination has been conducted using the following grading scale:
    5 stars - "good as new", 97-100% condition compared to a brand new product No deficiencies noticeable by naked eye. Very slight wear noticeable by magnifying glass. Must be mentioned whether the original packaging and accessories are included.
  • 4 stars - "in near mint condition", 90-96% condition compared to a brand new product
    Normal wear noticeable. Optics must be scratch and scuff free, yet the product may show signs of cosmetic wear. The optics may have single dust particles inside.
  • 3 stars - "in good condition", 80-89% condition compared to a brand new product
    Moderate signs of use noticeable. Small dents and surface wear at some points. The optics may have some dust particles inside, but likely will not affect the technical quality of the pictures. The front element of the optics may have scuff marks but the rear element must be in mint condition.
  • 2 stars - "in ok condition", 70-79% condition compared to a brand new product
    Increased signs of use noticeable. Dents, scratches, wear and tear of surfaces and paint job. Optics may have signs of use that have effect when shooting in special conditions (i.e. high contrast conditions). These are due to damage to the rear element.
  • 1 star - "in poor condition", below 70% condition compared to a brand new product
    Numerous signs of external wear and surface damage. Likely to have substantial paint damage. Optics has scratches, mold or fog that will probably deteriorate the contrast and definition. Condition may also be so poor that the product is beyond repair or only usable for spare parts.

What are the shipping costs?

We ship worldwide using Finnish Post, Priority Airmail. The shipping cost is fixed 20€ per shipment.

What are the Premium items?

The Premium items are the rarest and most valuable products from different camera categories. We have hand picked these items to the Premium listings, because they are in great condition for collecting or professional usage.

The Premium items are also great investments. The value of these items has risen every year for the last decade. When these items are preserved appropriate, you will have rock solid investment in your hands.

The brands we qualify to the Premium items are only the high end brands recognized through the world, for example Leica, Hasselblad, Rollei, Linhof, Carl Zeiss and Alpa. In some cases rare or unique individuals from other brands may also be accepted to the list. Most of our Premium items come from the finnish camera collectors. If you want to test these items on the spot, please contact Kameratori first.

We give 30 days satisfaction guarantee and 6 months mechanical guarantee for all Premium items. The guarantee covers all mechanical faults like the malfunction of shutter, aperture or focusing.

 

General Terms and Conditions

 

1. About Kameratori.fi

Toriverkosto Oy (business ID 2732000-4) manages the web store Kameratori.fi, through which different camera sellers from Finland market and sell products. These general terms and conditions are applied to all orders that are made through Kameratori.fi.

All the sellers in this web store comply with the Consumer Protection Act of Finland.

2. Making an order

Sales are completed between the customer and the seller whose product the customer has ordered through the Kameratori.fi web store. Each product's seller is declared in the respective product information.

The seller receives the customer's order after the customer has agreed to these general terms and conditions and paid for their order. After the order is completed, it cannot be cancelled through the web store anymore. If the customer wishes to cancel their order, they must contact the seller.

When the customer has paid for the product, they will receive an order confirmation to the email address that they have provided.

Any contact information provided by the customer will only be used to fulfil the customer's order, to send the product to the customer and to process possible customer complaints.

3. Delivery methods and delivery costs

The ordered product(s) are delivered to the customer using the delivery method that the customer has chosen when making an order. The customer may also collect the order directly from the seller.

The order's delivery costs are specified after the customer has chosen the delivery method. The delivery costs are paid at the time of making an order. Collecting the order from the seller is free of charge.

4. Payments

All payments through Kameratori.fi are intermediated by Paytrail Oyj (business ID 2122839-7) in cooperation with banks, credit companies and other partners.

5. Right to cancel an order

In case the product that the customer has ordered is not available due to a supply error, or there has been a clear mistake in the pricing, Toriverkosto Oy reserves the right to cancel the order and return the payment to the customer.

6. Product condition

All products on Kameratori.fi are sold in used condition, unless otherwise specified. The condition of each product is specified in the product information. Kameratori.fi uses a five-step scale to review the condition of each product. The criteria for product condition review is provided in the Kameratori.fi-webstore. All products have a 14-day return period that begins when the customer receives the product. In case a product still includes the manufacturer's guarantee, this will be specified in the provided product information.

Products found on Adapter shop and Film shop are new and the prices include the Finnish VAT 24%, if not stated otherwise.

7. Cancelling and returning an order

The customer has the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving it. The order is cancelled by giving notice of cancellation to Toriverkosto Oy or directly to the seller. If the customer cancels their order, they must return the product(s) to the seller within 14 days of giving notice of cancellation. When returning a product, the customer must package it safely and deliver it to the seller. The customer must attach the original order confirmation and the customer's contact information and payment information to the package. If possible, the payment will be returned using the same payment method that the customer used to pay for the order.

Toriverkosto Oy returns the payment to the customer, provided that the customer has cancelled their order within 14 days of receiving it and provided that they have returned the product to the seller within 14 days of giving notice of cancellation. Toriverkosto Oy will only return delivery costs to the amount equal to the cheapest delivery method offered by the seller. The customer is responsible for any costs for returning the product(s).

If the customer returns a product due to a fault in the product or due to receiving the wrong product, the seller will reimburse return costs to the customer. However, the seller will only reimburse return costs to the amount equal to the costs of the cheapest delivery method from the seller to the customer. When returning products due to a fault in the product or due to receiving the wrong product, the customer must attach the original order confirmation and the customer's contact information and payment information to the package. If possible, the payment will be returned using the same payment method that the customer used to pay for the order.

8. Pricing errors and force majeure

The seller reserves the right to cancel the order if the pricing for the product on Kameratori.fi is clearly incorrect. Pricing is considered clearly incorrect if the product's given price is so apparently different to the correct price that the customer has to have understood the pricing was incorrect.

The seller is not responsible for any delays or damages that are caused by circumstances that are beyond the control of the seller and that the seller cannot have reasonably predicted or avoided.

9. Changing general terms and conditions

Toriverkosto Oy reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions without prior notice. The terms that are applied to an order are the general terms and conditions in force at the moment of making the order.

10. Reclaims

All reclaims must be delivered in writing by email or letter to Toriverkosto Oy or directly to the seller involved.

The customer has the right to take the conflicts between the seller to the Consumer Dispute Board (http://www.kuluttajariita.fi/en/) to be solved. Before this the the customer must contact the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (http://www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-advice/).

If a disclosure is not found in these negotiations, the customer can take the dispute to the District Court of the sellers homeplace.
